       Instructions

Why should you join the challenge?

Well, mostly because it is super fun!  This is what folks had to say about last year:

"I love the challenges because they encourage me to read books I never would have read otherwise." - Amy S

"So much fun! And you can play virtually! Jump in!" - Valerie A

"I haven’t ready anything recently due to work and
photography- but I am ready and this is the challenge I needed- so thank you!"  - Jackie G

Need more reasons to join the challenge?

Reading isn't just fun - it is also good for your health!  According to the medically reviewed article “5 Ways Reading Benefits your Health — and How to Make Reading a Daily Habit” by Lia Tabackman:

  • Reading consistently strengthens connections in the brain, improves memory and concentration, and may even help you live longer.
  • Reading can also reduce stress levels and prevent age-related cognitive decline.

Finally, if you are a parent, you can join the challenge to model for your kids!  According to 5 Ways to Be a Reading Role Model” by Allison McDonald:

When your children see you reading you are telling them that reading is fun, that it's something worth spending your time doing, and that it's a normal and expected part of your day. Children who see their parents read for pleasure are more likely to read for fun themselves.

We can't wait to read with you!
