The Hugo Awards

Presented annually, The Hugo Awards are Science Fiction's most prestigious award. The awards are voted on by members of the World Science Fiction Convention. The Hugo Awards are named after Hugo Gernsback, a famous magazine editor who did much to bring science fiction to a wider audience. Awards are announced in August.
