Westport Library Local History Files are a collection of over 100,000 local newspaper clippings, photographs and selected town documents on important Town of Westport events, celebrations, government activity and people. The items were collected by the Westport Library Reference staff for over 50 years and contain a wealth of fascinating Westport history. The Local History Files are maintained in the Joel Davis Room, located on the library's Riverwalk level. It is available to the public during regular library hours to review at your leisure.
