I enjoyed seeing how people with challenges in their lives are brought together, possibly by fate, and how an intelligent octopus in captivity aids the process of bringing answers to family mysteries and their personal connections. The Maid by Nita Prose
Page turner. Sympathetic protagonist you want to reach out and take care of. I was on edge right up until the end of the story/mystery/drama. I listened on audio so the Maid's particular voice came through strongly and was well performed. 5 stars from Geralyn B
